ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned Special Judicial Magistrate, Land Grabbing Court, Madurai to expedite the proceedings in protest petition in Cr.M.P.No.184 of 2015 which is pending on the file of the Special Judicial Magistrate, Land Grabbing Court, Madurai and to dispose of the same within the time limit.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that after an order was passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.22169 of 2014, to complete the investigation and file the final report within six months, the police without conducting proper investigation in Crime No.95 of 2013, closed the case as 'mistake of fact' and further the petitioner filed a protest petition along with the private complaint under Section 200 Cr.P.C. before the learned Special Judicial Magistrate, Land Grabbing Court, Madurai on 11.12.2015, which was numbered as Cr.M.P.No.184 of 2015 and not taken on file till date. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition before this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances, the learned Special Judicial Magistrate, Land Grabbing Court, Madurai is directed to dispose of the case in Cr.M.P.No.184 of 2015, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
