The present writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to issue Destitute Widow Certificate to the Petitioner. 2.When the matter came up for admission, learned Government Advocate for the respondents submitted that instead of approaching the Revenue Divisional Officer, the first respondent, the petitioner has approached only, the Tahsildar, the second respondent herein for issuance of destitute widow certificate and therefore, if the petitioner approaches the Revenue Divisional Officer, the authority will consider her request.

3.In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to approach the Revenue Divisional Officer, the first respondent herein along with a representation for the destitute widow certificate. On receipt of such representation, the first respondent shall consider the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 15 days thereafter. No costs.
