ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation and to file a final report within a stipulated time fixed by this Court in Crime No.330 of 2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even though F.I.R has been registered as early as on 18.04.2016, the respondent did not take any efforts to file the final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the respondent requires six months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.330 of 2016.

and to file the final report in Crime No.330 of 2016 before the Court concerned within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
