ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs.39,000/- towards OPD reimbursement, Rs.1,53,275/- towards unpaid pension corpus fund, Rs.1,00,651/- towards deduction of excess rent arrears and Rs.33,708/- towards arrears of gratuity along with interest at the rate of 18% per annum, by considering his representation dated 19.03.2021.
2.According to the petitioner, he was appointed as a Welder - Grade IV in the year 1983 and promoted as General Technician in the year 2010. While so, on 28.05.2013, the petitioner was issued with a charge-memo. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner filed a Writ Petition in W.P(MD)No.6226 of 2014 and this Court, vide order dated 28.03.2018, allowed the Writ Petition. Subsequently, the petitioner was allowed to retire from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 23.06.2018. Seeking disbursement of pension amount and other amounts, the petitioner sent a representation, dated 19.03.2021 to the respondent. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition.
3.Mr.Raghuvaran Gopalan, learned counsel appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.03.2021, will be considered by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P(MD)No.8051 of 2021 respondent on merits, within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without deciding the issue on merits, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.03.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
