ORDER
The petitioner is before this Court seeking a direction to respondents 3 and 4 to provide drainage facilities in Sabareesh Nagar, Karkadu, Suchindram, Kanniyakumari District.
2.The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property bearing Door No. 20/83B, situated at Sabareesh Nagar, Karkadu, Suchindram, Kanniyakumari District. The grievance of the petitioner is that the residents in the locality are discharging drainage water onto the public street, which, in turn, enters the petitioner's premises, causing health hazards and damage to the property. In this regard, the petitioner had submitted representations to respondents 3 and 4; however, no action has been taken so far.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's representations dated 02.02.2026 and 21.02.2026 will be considered in accordance with law within the time frame stipulated by this Court. 4.The said submission is placed on record.
5.In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents 2 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representations dated 02.02.2026 and 21.02.2026 on their own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. If it is found that no drainage facility has been provided, respondents 2 to 4 shall take necessary steps to provide proper drainage facilities on the street abutting the petitioner's property to ensure effective discharge of wastewater. The above exercise shall be completed within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
