ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents No.1 and 2 to give necessary police protection. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner and her husband namely, Kaarnamoorthy loved each other for about five years. On 07.04.2021, the marriage was solemnized between the petitioner and her husband in presence of her husband relatives. When the third respondent came to know about their marriage, made a call to the petitioner and threaten with dire consequences. Hence, the petitioner made a detailed representation to the respondents No.1 and 2 to provide police protection. Since the respondents 1 and 2 did not take any steps to provide police protection, the petitioner is before this Court, with this present Criminal Original Petition. 3.According to the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), the representation made by the petitioner is pending for consideration and the same will be disposed of within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5508 of 2021 accordance with law, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
