ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners are apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime No.Not Known of 2018 and seek anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the husband of the defacto complainant on the instigation of the second respondent herein often harassed the defacto complainant demanding further dowry.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and they have been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that petition enquiry is pending.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the second petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed against the first petitioner and the second petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Magistrate concerned within a period https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on his executing a separate bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Aundipatti or to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest and on further condition that the second petitioner shall appear before the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Aundipatti daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
