ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking to quash the summons issued by the first respondent/Executive Magistrate dated 17.02.2026, whereby the petitioner was called upon to appear before him for proceedings under Section 126 of the BNSS.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in one of the criminal cases, the petitioner has already been acquitted and there is no material to issue a summons under Section 126 of the BNSS.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioner has appeared before the first respondent on 23.02.2026 and has already executed a bond under Section 126 of the BNSS.

4. In view of the above, it is made clear that pursuant to the summons, the petitioner appeared before the first respondent and 2/4

executed a bond. In such circumstances, the quashing of the summons does not arise. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
