O R D E R

The present Petition has been filed by the sole accused accused in Special S.C.No.174 of 2024, on the file of Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Dindigul seeking to quash the criminal proceedings, wherein, the Petitioner has been charge-sheeted for the offences under sections 9, 5(l), 5(j)(ii), 6 of POCSO Act,2012 and Section 87of BNSS,2023. 2.The date of birth of the victim is 25.3.2007 and the victim had attained majority on 25.3.2025.She married the accused person on 3.11.2025 and the marriage was registered on 28.11.2025.The de-facto complainant and the accused person entered into a compromise, wherein, they have agreed to quash the charge sheet. The defacto complaint is present in person and she also acknowledges the above facts and they have agreed for the compromise.

3.Considering the above said facts, the charge sheet in Special S.C.No.174 of 2024, on the file of Special Court for 2/5

Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Dindigul is hereby quashed and the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
