ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 02.01.2015 through which he has sought for a separate patta to him.

2. At the time placing arguments, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has specifically averred that there are no rival claims nor any suit is pending in respect of the property in question. Hence, the petitioner prays this Court that the property may be measured and a separate patta may be issued to the petitioner.

3. Mr.N.Manoharan learned Spl.Govt.Pleader, would submit that the application of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 02.01.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
