Respondent This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to disburse payment to the petitioner for work carried out by him under work order in Ma.Po.4/Ma.No.1004/2013-14 dated 18.09.2014 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.06.2015 within the period that may be stipulated by this honourable Court. ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to disburse payment to the petitioner for the work carried out by him under work order in Ma.Po.4/Ma.No.1004/2013-14 dated 18.09.2014 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.06.2015.

2. Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Addl.Govt.Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondent, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Addl.Govt.Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondent is

directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.06.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
