Respondent in Crl.O.P.(MD).20055/2016 Common Prayer: These Criminal Original Petitions are filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to issue a suitable direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.II, Madurai to dispose of S.T.C.Nos.12, 180 and 179 of 2016 at an early date.

For Petitioner : Mr.S.Nateshraaja in all cases COMMON ORDER These petitions are filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.II, Madurai to dispose of S.T.C.Nos.12, 180 and 179 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in S.T.C.Nos. 12, 180 and 179 of 2016, the petitioner is the Managing Director of Thangam Theatre and Thangam Grant Hotel at Madurai and the accused persons have totally borrowed money of about Rs.1 crore (Rupees one crore only) from the petitioner and to discharge their liability, they issued cheques, which were dis-honoured.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that the accused have been deliberately delaying the trial, which causes undue hardship and mental agony to the petitioner.

5. It is further submitted that the trial already commenced in S.T.C.No.12 of 2016 and it is now posted for crossexamination of PW1 and in other two cases the accused have entered their appearance through their advocate, but they did not appear in person before the trial court so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Considering the facts and circumstances and the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going to the merits of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.II, Madurai, is directed to dispose of the cases in S.T.C.Nos. 12, 180 and 179 of 2016, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, on or before 30.04.2017.

7. With the above direction, these Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
