This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to expedite the investigation and file a report in Crime No.171 of 2017 on the file of the second respondent police within a stipulated time.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that the investigation in Crime No.171 of 2017 is almost completed and prayed for two months time to file a final report.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

4. In view of the above submission, the respondent police is directed to file the final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
