O R D E R

The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to conduct a survey based on his application, dated 04.01.2025, followed up with a representation, dated 31.01.2025.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for admission, the learned Additional Government Pleader would contend that the officials have already fixed the date for survey as 26.03.2025. However, he would submit that police protection would be required to safeguard the officials during the time of survey.

Considering that the petitioner's application is being acted upon, it would suffice to record the submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader that the survey would be conducted on 26.03.2025. It is made clear that the 1st respondent shall seek the assistance of the 3rd respondent police officials to provide protection to the respondents 1 and 2 at the time of survey. The survey exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after hearing the objection of the 4th respondent, if any.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
