The Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.2 of 2013 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner present and heard.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) present and represented as the investigation is completed and on filing charge sheet, cognizance have been taken in Special C.C.No.1 of 2017 by Special Court for Vigilance and Anti-Corruption cases, Trichy. She further submitted that the case has been taken cognizance by the appropriate Court, nothing survives for adjudication in the present petition, since the petition has been filed challenging the First Information Report.
