With the consent of the counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 1/4

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the repsondents.

3. The petitioner only seeks for expeditious disposal of the appeal pending before the first respondent.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that as against the order of the second respondent, an appeal has been preferred before the first respondent as early as on 21.12.2023 and the first respondent has not passed orders there on.

5. Considering the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to hear and dispose of the appeal of the petitioner, on merits, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
