This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.89 of 2016.

2. There was no representation for the learned counsel for the petitioner and heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions, would submit that after completion of investigation, final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Madurai and the same was taken on file as CC.No.3 of 2017, on 01.02.2017 and the case was posted for next hearing on 13.03.2017 and filed a memo to that effect.

4.Since the case was taken on file as CC.No.3 of 2017 by the concerned Court, the prayer sought for in this petition is not maintainable. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
