ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner / Accused No.1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the 1/3

respondent Police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 498(A) IPC in Crime No.3 of 2024, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to matrimonial dispute arose between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, the petitioner herein demanded more money from the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner, who is the husband of the defacto complainant, had never committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the petitioner herein has demanded a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- from the defacto complainant to start a fruit shop. But, the defacto complainant refused to give the amount to the petitioner.

5. Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/3
