This petition has been filed to direct the the 2nd respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2017, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the petitioner appeared before the respondent police and stated that he is not pressing the petition and there is no need to take action on his petition.
