Writ Petition is filed under article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to inspect the route between Tenkasi Collectorate to Pavoor Sathiram bus stand via Tenkasi New Bus Stand, Tenkasi Old Bus Stad, Vaikalpalam, Kilappullur, Melapatakkurichi, Government Play Ground, Kilapattakurichi, Sundarapaniyapuram Bus Stand, Melapavoor, Kurumbalaperi, Keelapavoor and directing the respondents not to grant any new permit to the above said routes by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2025.

ORDER
Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader and perusing the representation of the petitioner dated 16.12.2025, the case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is an existing mini bus route holder and has made an application to migrate under the new scheme and the same is also issued. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the some of the other applications have also been made with reference to the route in which the petitioner is operating. According to the petitioner, since the same is serving route, the same should not be considered for approval under the new scheme. In view of the contents of the representation, it is for the authority, namely, the first respondent to consider the same on its own merits. 3.In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of on the following terms:
(i)The first respondent shall take up the representation of the petitioner dated 16.12.2025 and issue notice to the petitioner or any other interested party and conduct an inquiry with reference to the same and pass
such orders in accordance with law.
(ii)The aforesaid exercise shall be made as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than 12 weeks from the date of receipt of web copy of the order. It is made clear that this Court is not expressing any opinion on the claim of the petitioner or with reference to the merits of the matter. No costs.
