: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to survey the lands in Survey No.141/1A31A1, Sivagiripatti Village Palani Taluk, Dindigul District to an extent of 0.33.53 hectares based on the petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2014 within a time framed by this court.

*********** Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. According to the petitioner, he has submitted a representation on 28.01.2014, before the second respondent with a request to measure the lands in Survey No.141/1A31A1, situated at Sivagiripatti Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District, to an extent of 0.33.53 hectares. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner is now before this Court with the present Writ Petition.

3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.01.2014, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to the parties concerned.
