RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.OP.(MD). No.2877 of 2021 dated 26.02.2021 to furnish "two common sureties" instead of "two sureties each".

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.G.MOHAN KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.KR.BHARATHI KANNAN, Government Advocate(Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed seeking for modification of the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.23877 of 2021 dated 26.02.2021 to furnish two common sureties instead of sureties each.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been directed to execute a bond with two sureties each. Since the petitioners are relatives, he requests this Court to accept two common sureties for all of the petitioners, instead of two sureties for each of the petitioners.

CRL MP(MD) No.3195 of 2021 3.The request of the learned counsel for the petitioners cannot be entertained for the reason that if the petitioners are permitted two common sureties for all the accused and the sureties are not found or dead in the course of time, it may not be possible for the lower Courts to proceed with the trial, incase the petitioners remain absent and Non-Bailable Warrants are issued. In view of this matter, this petition is dismissed.
