Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay salary arrears from 27.02.2007 to 07.11.2010 and subsequent salary difference amount from 08.11.2010 to 30.06.2013 which being the date of retirement due to superannuation of the petitioner while working as a Noon Meal Scheme Organizer at Vengadampatti Sathiryar Kulu Middle School, Tirunelveli District, in pursuance of the petitioner's representation on 01.04.2015. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay salary arrears from 27.02.2007 to 07.11.2010 and subsequent salary difference amount from 08.11.2010 to 30.06.2013 which being the date of retirement due to superannuation of the petitioner, while working as Noon Meal Scheme Organizer at Vengadampatti Sathiryar Kulu Middle School, Tirunelveli District, in pursuance of the petitioner's representation on 01.04.2015.

2. Mr.K.Maheshraja, learned Govt.Advocate accepts notice for the first respondent and Mr.V.Muruganandham, learned Addl.Govt.Pleader takes notice for the second respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocates appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

6. According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner that no disciplinary proceedings are pending on date. Still there are arrears from the respondents. In view of the specific averment of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.04.2015 , on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
