....Respondents PRAYER:- Contempt Petition - filed under Section 11 of the Contempt Courts Act, to punish the contemnors for having wilfully disobedience and disrespect of the order dated 12.11.2025 in W.P.(MD)No.25441 of 2025 under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) This contempt petition is filed alleging disobedience of the order of this Court dated 12.11.2025.

2.Today, when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, submits that pursuant to the order of this 2/5

Court, necessary proceedings have been initiated under the provisions of the Land Encroachment Act and four encroachments have been found. Out of the said four encroachments, three encroachments are minor in nature and another one is a shed put up by the Temple. With regard to the proceedings initiated as against encroachment made by the Temple, the Temple has approached this Court by way of filing writ petition in W.P.(MD)No.3097 of 2026 and this Court vide order dated 12.02.2026 allowed the writ petition directing not to demolish the temple's structure. 3.In such view of the matter, let the authorities proceed as per law to remove the other encroachments.

4.As the proceedings have already been initiated under the provisions of the Land Encroachment Act in compliance of the order of this Court, this contempt petition is closed. [N.S.K., J.] & [M.J.R., J.] 16.03.2026 Index : Yes/No NCC : Yes/No ta 3/5
