ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police harassed the petitioner with regard to a car theft, which was driven by him on 12.10.2016 as an acting driver.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the petitioner was only called for enquiry and there was no harassment made against the petitioner by the respondent police and the petition enquiry is pending. However, he gave an undertaking that if at all the presence of the petitioner is required, the respondent police would call the petitioner for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

enquiry only after issuing summons giving specific date, time and place.

5. Recording the above submission given by the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
