ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the accused persons in crime No.22 of 2026, on the file of the first respondent police wherein the petitioners are said to have committed offences under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 296(b), 115(2), 118(1), 324(4), 351 (3) of BNS, 2023 and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

2. Pending investigation, the parties have entered into a compromise wherein the defacto complainant has agreed that the FIR may be quashed. 3.Today the defacto complainant is present in-person and she acknowledges the fact that she had agreed for quashing of the F.I.R.

4. Considering the above said facts, F.I.R. in crime No.22 of 2026, on the file of the first respondent police is hereby quashed.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. The joint compromise memo shall form part and parcel of the order. 12.03.2026 2/2 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No RJR 2/4
