PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, 2023, to pass an order the Respondents Nos.1 and 2 not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry in Civil dispute.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the respondents 1 and 2 not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry in a civil dispute.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the third respondent, who is his wife has lodged a complaint on 02.03.2026 with regard to the civil dispute and the respondents 1 and 2 are harassing him under the guise of enquiry.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first and the second respondents brought to the notice of the Court the wife had lodged a complaint that her husband has assaulted her.

4. In view of the above said facts, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to complete the enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Wtih the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
