Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd Respondent herein to permit the petitioner to report duty as Shethidal Panchayat Clerk forthwith pursuant to the order of the 1st Respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.M3/32362/2012 dated 14.03.2014 and pass any such further or other orders. The learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition. He has made an endorsement to that effect and also circulated a letter dated 08.11.2016 to the Registry, wherein it has been stated as follows: "We are appearing for the petitioner in the above writ petition. The petitioner has instructed us to withdraw the above writ petition as he joined in the alternative post given to him at Kothidal Kalakkudi Panchayat clerk. He gave a letter to that effect.

Hence, the office may be directed to list the case before the Hon'ble Court for withdrawal on 09.11.2016."

2. In view of the letter dated 08.11.2016 circulated to the Registry and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
