ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to Survey and Demarcate the Petitioner property comprised in S.No.31-7A1B in Patta No. 2457, to an extent of 0.6.50 Ares situated at JeyankondanNilai Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District based on the petitioners Representation dated 28.10.2025 and online application dated 15.09.2025 within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims right over the property through a settlement deed, registered as Document No.1358 of 2022, dated 13.08.2022, which was executed by the petitioner's father. The petitioner's father is entitled to the land as ancestral property. The respondents 4 and 5 are the adjacent landowners and are disputing the petitioner's claim. According to the petitioner, they have encroached his land. Therefore, he is seeking a survey of the land based on the settlement deed. 2/5

3. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to survey the land with assistance of the second respondent after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the fourth and fifth respondents. If the first respondent requires police protection, the same shall be granted by the third respondent. The official respondents shall adhere to the following Standard Operating Procedures: • The official respondents shall issue notice to the petitioner immediately reaching the spot where survey is to be conducted. The petitioner shall affix the signature by receiving the notice of survey. • After survey again the petitioner shall affix signature indicating that the survey was conducted to their satisfaction.

• If the petitioner is not satisfied, then also the petitioner shall affix signature indicating their dissatisfaction or with protest. The petitioner shall indicate that reason of their dissatisfaction or protest. The aforesaid procedure shall be strictly followed by the parties. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a 3/5

copy of this order.

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
