This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to restore the house site of the petitioner vide Patta No.3397 measuring 1.1/2 cents comprised in Survey No. 627/34 and 627/1 Part situated in Thamaraikulam Bit-I, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has passed away and accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed as abated. However, liberty is granted to the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner to approach the competent authority seeking appropriate remedy, if any. No costs.
