Mr.R.Satheesh, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents.
2. With the consent of either parties, this Writ Petition is disposed on the admission stage itself.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
4. The petitioner herein who worked as a Superintendent in the respondent Board retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.04.2023. Thereafter certain dispute arose with 2/6
regard to fixation of pay and grant of increment, etc., and hence the petitioner made a claim before the respondent Board and the same was considered by the fourth respondent and necessary and certain clarifications were sought for from the first respondent. Accordingly, the petitioner was intimated about the same through the impugned letter dated 02.01.2026. As no further steps have been taken even after the lapse of two months, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.
5. When this matter came up on initially, Mr.R.Satheesh learned Standing Counsel took notice for the respondents and sought time for getting instructions.
6. Today when the matter is taken up, the learned Standing counsel for the respondent submitted that necessary clarification as sought for from the first respondent, is still awaited and the same was intimated to the petitioner through the impugned 3/6
proceedings and if necessary clarifications are received from the first respondent, appropriate orders would be passed on the request made by the petitioner. He further submitted that the entire process may require reasonable time of 12 weeks.
7. In the light of the above, without going to the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the request made by the petitioner pursuant to the impugned proceedings as early as possible, at any rate, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. With this direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
