O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to expedite the investigation in Crime No.23 of 2016 dated 11.08.2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent police and file a final report.

2. On the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.23 of 2016 on 11.08.2016 under Sections 498(A), 506(1) IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 against Rajasekaran and three others. Now, the petitioner is before this Court for a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a charge sheet in a time bound manner.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State. Mrs.R.Meena, Sub-Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Theni is present. On instructions, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the investigation in Crime No.23 of 2016 was completed and a charge sheet has been filed as against one https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Rajasekaran on 23.09.2016 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Theni, but the same has not been taken on file.

4. Recording the same, this petition is closed with further direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Theni to pass appropriate orders on the charge sheet in All Women Police Station Crime No.23 of 2016, if not already passed, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
