Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 2 herein to disburse the insurance amount for the policy bearings Nos. 745549720, 743884699, 747663977, 745412369, 745557192 and 743884698 for the death of petitioner's husband namely Late C.R. Rajakumar, based on the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2015 within a time stipulated by this Honourable Court. For petitioner : Mr.D.Anbarasu *******

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.06.2015 wherein, she has sought for the death benefits from the Life Insurance Corporation of India Limited, on account of the death of the petitioner's husband.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is in urgent need of money as the sole breadwinner of the family is no more. Hence, it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, by the first and the second respondents, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner, dated 08.06.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the petitioner, the fourth respondent herein as well as any other interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
