O R D E R

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 25.01.2025 for correction of the UDR entries. 2.The case of the petitioner is that while patta always stood in the name of the ancestors of the petitioner, at the time of UDR survey, the name of the petitioner's grandfather has been removed and the patta has been mutated in the name of one Pandiyammal. On coming to know about the same, the petitioner has made an application for rectification of the error. The said application was made on 25.01.2025.

3.Considering the limited relief sought for by the writ petitioner, it would suffice to direct the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the person in whose name patta has been mutated presently ie., Pandiyammal. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/5
