Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court Directing the respondent to pay interest at the rate of 18 percent per annum, for the period of delay from 01.06.18 to 21.09.19, in paying the amounts paid towards the terminal benefits of the petitioner namely EPF Employees Contribution, Gratuity, Encashment of Earned /Sick Leaves within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honourable Court and without affecting his right to claim balance amounts towards those benefits and thus render justice For Petitioner : Mr.S.Arunachalam For Respondent : Mr.J.Senthil Kumaraiah, learned Standing counsel

ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to punish the respondent for wilfully disobeying the orders passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.1685 of 2020 dated 29.01.2020.

2.When this Contempt Petition is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing on either side would submit that the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.1685 of 2020 dated 29.01.2020 has been complied with. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also made an endorsement in the petition, to that effect.
