O R D E R

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that on the complaint given by Jebamani, the third respondent herein and on the complaint given by the petitioner, a petition enquiry is conducted in C.S.R.No.260 of 2017 and the same were closed on 26.05.2017 on the ground that the dispute is essentially civil in nature, advising both the parties to approach the Civil Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is a decree in favour of the petitioner passed by the Civil Court.

3. It is seen that in the present petition, the petitioner is seeking police protection for the life and limb.

4. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent police to ensure that no harm befalls the petitioner and if there is any further physical threat to the petitioner, liberty is given to the petitioner to give a fresh complaint and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into by calling both the parties.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is closed with the above direction.
