ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the accused in C.C.No.56 of 2025, on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai, seeking to quash the charge sheet, wherein they have been charged with offences under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1) of BNS and Section 4 of TN prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2022.

2. Pending trial, the parties have entered into a compromise, wherein the defacto complainant has agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

3. Today, the defacto complainant is present in-person before this Court and acknowledges the fact that the parties have entered into a compromise and he agreed for quashing of C.C.No.56 of 2025, on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai.

4. Considering the above said facts, the C.C.No.56 of 2025, on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai , is hereby quashed and the Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The joint compromise memo dated 03.03.2026 shall form part and parcel of this order. 18.03.2026 tta 2/4
