ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 498(A) and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime No.15 of 2015, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The Case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and his parents demanded more dowry and harassed the defacto complainant from the date of marriage.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that earlier the petitioner has already granted anticipatory bail in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.11697/2016, by this Court and since the petitioner has not appeared before the Magistrate concerned within the period of 15 days, the petitioner has come up with the second anticipatory bail petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that this is the second anticipatory bail and earlier this Court has granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Since the petitioner has not complied with the condition in the earlier order, he has come forward with this second petition.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with the following condition. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tuticorin, within a period of 10 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judge concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10. a.m. until further orders.
