PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, 2023, to direct the respondents No.1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of his representation dated 26.02.2026.

ORDER
The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 2 to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of his representation 26.02.2026.
2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner and the third respondent, who is the brother of the petitioner, were doing joint business and they have acquired certain properties and the third respondent had attacked the petitioner with regard to partitioning and doing of the said business. Therefore, he has lodged a complaint to the respondent police on 26.02.2026. So far, no action has been initiated and hence, the present petition.

The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the first and the second respondents submitted that both the parties were called for an enquiry on 05.03.2026 and both of them have given in writing that they would amicably settle the property disputes among themselves and the petitioner has physically requested that no further action may be taken based upon his complaint dated 26.02.2026 and therefore, the complaint has been closed. 2/4
4. A copy of the letter given by the petitioner is also placed before this Court.
5. The petitioner and the third respondent have already agreed to settle the issue themselves and the petitioner has made a request not to proceed further. Based on his complaint, no further orders are called for in the present petition.
6. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
