No.9981 of 2019 :- This Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 & 2 to issue suitable orders and instruction to all the private companies operating the running matrimonial websites, to control the monitor their websties by framing suitable guidelines including verification and identification mechanism in order to protect the innocent young women becoming the victims at the hands of the criminals using matrimonial websites and simultaneously direct the respondents 3 to 5 to take immediate action in the complaint dated 26/03/2019 of Dr. S. Thamaraiselvi forwarded by the petitioner Trust on behalf of Dr. S Thamaraiselvi vide its letter dated 26.03.2019 forming a special team under the head of Senior Women Police Official.

ORDER:- These Petitions are coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s Mcgan Law Firm, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. P. Thilakkumar, Government Pleader For R1 and Mr.A. Albert James, Government Advocate For R2 to R8, this Court made the following order: (Order of the Court was made by J.Nisha Banu J.) "These petitions have been filed to recall the order dated 04.03.2025 and to reopen the writ petition.
2. The allegations made by the petitioner are serious that innocent children/women are being targeted under the guise of matrimonial websites. Therefore, we are inclined to recall the order dated 04.03.2025. Accordingly, the order dated 04.03.2025 is recalled and the Registry is directed to list the main writ petition on 21.04.2025."
