W.P.Crl.(MD) No.1734 of 2026 N.ANAND VENKATESH.J., AND K.K.RAMAKRISHNAN.J., This petition is listed under the caption "for being mentioned" at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the earlier order passed in W.P.Crl.(MD) No.1734 of 2026, dated 30.03.2026, name of the petitioner's counsel has been wrongly mentioned as Mr.R.Alagumani, instead of Mr.S.Srikanth and also the prayer portion has been wrongly typed as follows:

Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to grant seven days emergency leave to the petitioner, by name, Selvi, wife of Mariyappan, aged about 71 years, confining at Special Prison for Women, Madurai, as life convict to take treatment for the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 12.03.2026 in accordance with law.

and the same may be rectified.

3. In view of the above submission, the name of the petitioner's counsel shall be modified as Mr.S.Srikanth and the prayer in the cause title shall be modified as follows:

Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant 21 days ordinary leave without escort to the petitioner's husband namely Veeramani, S/o.Ayyamalai, a life convict prisoner (C.P.No.5915), now confined at Central Prison, Trichy, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 22.01.2026.

4. The Registry is directed to carry out the above corrections in the order dated 30.03.2026 and issue a fresh copy of the order to the parties forthwith.
