Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Court, praying to punish the respondents for their willful and wanton disobedience of the order dated 29.03.2019 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.14192 of 2017 and W.P.(MD)No.22987 of 2017. Prayer in WP(MD). 14192/ 2017 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2dn respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 23.03.2015 and 10.07.2015 and promote the petitioner as Executive Officer (special Grade), with effect from 16.03.2015 on par with the petitioners junior 7th respondent and consequently, further promote the petitioner as Assistant Director of Town Panchayat with effect from 25.01.2016 i.e. on par with the petitioners junior -7th respondent and grant 1/3

all the service monetary and other attendant benefits within a time stipulated by this Court.

Prayer in WP(MD). 22987/ 2017 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to place the name of the petitioner in between Sl.No.1 and Sl.No.2 (i.e.) after the name of Thiru.R.Senthilkumar, and above the name of Tmt.N.Vijayalakshmi as Sl.No.1A in the Tentative Executive Officer (Special Grade) seniority list dated 21.10.2017 and further direct the respondents to give the petitioner Executive Officer (Special Grade) and also further direct them to promote petitioner as Assistant Director on par with his Juniors with all service and other Monetary benefits. ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order of this Court dated 29.03.2019 made in W.P.(MD)No.14192 of 2017 and W.P.(MD)No.22987 of 2017. 2.Today, when the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has given a copy of the order passed by the second respondent dated 08.07.2020 in Na.Ka.No.9110/2019/A1, where the request of the petitioner having been considered was rejected. 3.Since the orders have been passed by the second respondent as directed by this Court, in its order dated 29.03.2019, this Court feels that no further issue to be adjudicated in this Contempt Petition. A copy of the said order can also be forwarded to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and on receipt of the same, it is open to the petitioner to agitate the issue in the manner known to law. 4.In view of the above, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
