ORDER
Seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 08.10.2025, this writ petition is filed. 1/4
2. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a lady who had given a complaint as against the 3rd respondent on 08.10.2025 with respect to cheating which she suffered at the hands of the 3rd respondent. However, there is no action. Hence, this writ petition.
4. It is the contention of the learned Government Advocate(crl.side) that already the parties have arrived at a compromise among themselves out of the police station and pursuant to the same, the petitioner had herself withdrawn the complaint on 28.10.2025 itself. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner pointed out that in terms of the said compromise, the 3rd respondent had not acted upon.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.
6. In view of the same, the 2nd respondent is directed to issue summons to the petitioner and the 3rd respondent under section 64 BNSS, 2023 and take 2/4
appropriate action in accordance with law.
