PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to take necessary action against the 4th respondent by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2024 in accordance with Section 205 of Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2.According to the petitioner, the Government of India has formulated a scheme called as Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Development Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA) to enhance the livelihood and security of the people in the rural areas by generating wage employment through works that develop in infrastructure posts in that area. As per the said scheme, the 4th respondent is empowered to implement the said scheme by affording employment opportunity
to all the poor villagers. However, the 4th respondent failed to implement the said scheme and misused the funds. Therefore, the petitioner made a detailed representation dated 30.01.2024 to the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the 4th respondent. Since the same has not been considered so far, he has filed this Writ Petition.
3.The learned Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and appropriate orders would be passed within the stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.
4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the writ petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, we are inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
