ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to sanction a sum of Rs.4,10,742/- being the reimbursement amount for the medical expenses of the petitioner. 2.Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 3.By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 4.According to the petitioner, he served as a Deputy Collector in the Revenue Department and retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.10.2000. While so, on 30.09.2018, the petitioner met with an accident and he undergone plastic surgery and took treatment for breathing trouble in KMCH Hospital, Coimbatore.
Seeking reimbursement of medical expenses, the petitioner submitted all the particulars about his treatment with original documents before the second respondent on 16.05.2019. Thereafter, the petitioner sent several representations to the respondents and the last representation is dated 09.01.2021. Since no action has been taken on the side of the respondents, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition.
5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.01.2021 would be considered on merits within the period stipulated by this Court.
6.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
7.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without deciding the issue on merits, it is suffice to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.01.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
