PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the second respondent and his officials that not to harass the petitioner and his family in the guise of enquiry and consequently, to direct the respondents that not to initiate any coercive action as against the petitioner.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the second respondent and his officials that not to harass the petitioner and his family in the guise of enquiry and consequently, to direct the respondents that not to initiate any coercive action as against the petitioner.

2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Perused the materials placed on record.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the petitioner is accused in Crime No. 314 of 2022 and investigation is pending. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor brought to notice that the petitioner is having twelve previous cases.

5. Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.7000 of 2022 interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
