This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry except due process of law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that, on the complaint given by the de facto complainant, with regard to money dispute, against the petitioners herein, petition enquiry is pending.

4. In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry and the petitioners are also directed to co-operate with the respondent Police for enquiry. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, it is open to the respondent Police to register F.I.R., and this Order shall https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

not be a shield for the petitioners against arrest.

5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is closed.
