ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.02.2018 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w. 20 (b) (ii) (c) and 25 of NDPS Act in Crime No.41 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 30 kgs of Ganja and hence, the case has been registered.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and a false case has been foisted against him.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the petitioner was found in possession of 30 Kgs of Ganja. He would submit that the petitioner has not involved in any other case. However, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the period of incarceration of the petitioner, I am of the view that the petitioner could be enlarged on bail. Accordingly, it is ordered that the petitioner shall be released on bail, on executing a separate bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

satisfaction of the learned Principal Special Judge for EC & NDPS Act cases, Madurai, and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the Court concerned daily twice at 10.30 a.m. and 5.00 p.m., until further orders.
