O R D E R
Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Ms.Vethavalli, Sub-Inspector of Police, Thiruvadanai Police Station, Ramnad District, is present. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that on the complaint given by one Annammal, a regular case in Crime No.3 of 2017 has been registered against the petitioner.
2. In the light of the law laid down by this Court in Dorand v. The Superintendent of Police, Nagercoil [2016(2) CTC 286], the prayer of the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
