ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to survey the land of the petitioner in Survey No.141/4E situated at Uppukadai street, Melavaithyanathapuram, Madurai District and fix the boundary stones with adequate police protection and consequently direct the respondent No.3 to grant patta for the properties in Survey No.141/4E situated at Uppukadai street, Melavaithyanathapuram, Madurai District within a stipulated time.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner at the time of arguments, submitted that he is giving up the prayer with regard to police protection. The said statement is recorded.

3.The petitioner has made a representation dated 08.06.2015 to the respondents 1, 3 and 4 to survey his lands and for granting patta. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks the indulgence of this Court for a direction to the third and fourth respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate, who took notice for respondents 1 to 4. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion as to the merits of the contentions raised by the petitioner in this writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of directing the third and fourth respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.06.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders, after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as the interested parties if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
